Get Termcat
Getting ready for your pocket.
Termcat is in development. Public App Store and Google Play downloads are not available yet.
Free at the core
Termcat is a free, open-source SSH terminal. Core connections need no Termcat account or backend, and there is no connection or session quota.

The app lives in the repository's mobile/ directory and uses Expo with local native modules. Expo Go cannot run it. Install dependencies with npm ci, then run npx expo run:ios or npx expo run:android from that directory.
An iOS build requires macOS, Xcode and signing configured for your Apple team. An Android build requires the Android SDK and a compatible JDK. Use the repository instructions for the native dependencies and build configuration.
What you need on your host
An SSH server and a network route from your phone are enough for core SSH. Add tmux or Herdr on the host if you want to resume work after the connection closes. Tailcat Quick Connect is another supported connection route.
Live Codex/OpenCode chat also needs Python 3 and the agent's server running on that host, with its own account or model provider configured.

Physical-device testing and public distribution are still in progress. Hosted file sharing and closed-app notifications are not publicly available yet. Optional iCloud sync still needs device testing.
Store buttons and a public source link will appear here when verified release destinations are available.
